Roman Vysochan died tragically on the 10th of may 2008. He was 16 years old. He was a student in St Nessan's College for 3 years to Junior Cert and a student in St Munchin's College for almost 1 full school year. Roman came from Ukraine to Ireland at the age of 4. He lived in Dublin until he was 12, and then he moved to Caherdavin, Limerick. From there, he moved to Westbury at the age of 15. He had one younger brother, Oleg. Roman was the victim of a fatal stabbing incident near his home. He tried to jump in for a friend and died from a single stab wound to the chest. Roman was a terrific sportsman, he played soccer for Caherdavin Celtic, Fairview, and Corbally Utd. He supported Glasgow Celtic. Roman had hundreds of friends in Limerick, as he was such a sound lad, and he always had a smile on his face. There was never a dull moment with him around. He introduced himself as Romeo to people in Caherdavin, but he was also known as Rome or Ruben. He was a true legend, and did not deserve the death he received. R.I.P Roman, you'll always be in our hearts forever. We were your 1st friends in Caherdavin, you'll be ours in heaven. Sleep tight Rome, and stay close. X
